We sell annual and multi-year licenses for the Curio platform based on your estimated usage. In addition, there are fees for storage and
computation that are inline with cloud platform providers. For on premise models where you provide your own infrastructure, there are no
additional fees for storage and computation.
Licenses for the Curio platform are priced based on a series of factors including: number of users, usage profile of the platform,
feature support, and potential customizations. There are several license tiers to fit different needs; please
contact us to learn more.
Unlike other online bioinformatic solutions, researchers can analyze and interact with their data in many ways within Curio without
any associated usage fee. Some examples of these non-charged activities are the use of the multiple visualizers, querying the data
through the user interfaces (i.e. browsing through the sample, adjusting quality scores, turning on/off UMI processing, turning on/off
read deduplication, showing allele frequencies, downloading of reports, downloading of raw data, etc.), browsing through the completed
analyses, and even comparing analyses and samples. These activities, and more, are completely covered under your license agreement with
no additional usage fees.
Due to the unique power of Curio, researchers are able to fine tune their experiments within the platform via these non-usage mechanisms
before running any further analyses. This saves you not only your money, but also something more valuable – your time.
Computation and Storage
With the Curio platform, the usage costs are predictable and well defined. There are three
basic usage metrics that you are charged for: Non-Indexed Storage, Indexed Storage, and
One of the advantages of the Curio platform is the way we manage and store your data. In a
traditional process, merging, trimming, aligning, sorting, and storing all create independent files
that result in additional data storage needs. That is not the case with Curio. Curio efficiently
manages this in a way where those independent files are a thing of the past while still
preserving the data researchers and bioinformaticians need along the way. The end result is
cost savings for you and the power to ask the important questions of your data.

Get Started Free of Charge
When you create an account within the Curio Genomics Platform,
your new organization is automatically credited with 50 GB of storage and 100 Computational Units to use for data analyses. This is provided
all free of charge with no obligation to continue using Curio and no strings attached - we will not ask for your credit card or any other
method of payment while you are enjoying your free trial. The free trial allows you to use all of the publicly available features of
Curio: you can create as many projects as you would like, collaborate with as many people as you would like, and execute full data analyses.
With the credit allowances provided, most users are able to upload FASTQ file(s) totaling approximately 200M reads. Then they are able to align
& run QC report(s) on that data and even perform variant or other analyses across panels that total approximately 5mbp.
Once your Storage or Computational Units are exhausted, if you would like to continue using the Curio Platform simply
contact us and we will work with you to get you back to discovering at the speed of your curiosity.
