World Congress on Genetics Applied to Livestock Production
    July 12–17, 2026 · Monona Terrace · Madison, Wisconsin

Curio hosted a lunch workshop that put the NGS ecosystem on one stage: a production breeding program, a library-prep partner, a service lab built on Curio, and one of the largest genotyping labs. Four talks, one workflow.

A breeding program, a kit partner, a service lab, and a major genotyping lab: the whole workflow in one room. Slides are in the resource library.
A Simplot Story | Switching From Arrays To Sequence-based Genotyping
Shawn Quinn, Curio Genomics
Curio's Shawn Quinn shares a story of how the Simplot Company, transitioned from array to NGS genotyping across its 60,000+ cattle herd using CURIO to validate Twist's target capture kit and laboratory workflows and then, automating data management, analysis, and delivery of genotyping results into breeding evaluation systems.
Highly Accurate, Informative and Stable Genotyping with Twist & Curio
Paul Doran, Twist Bioscience
Paul Doran shares examples of microarray variant miscalls identified when compared to Twist's hybrid capture data, often caused by the presence of additional proximal SNPs. He included examples of errors in ISAG parentage markers within a USDA cattle diversity dataset.
